Tigers & Tracks Action Day for Two

A perfect day of adventurous activities.

Immersed in the atmosphere of the Imperial War Museum Duxford, this package makes for an extra special day. First is a hands-on flying lesson in the open cockpit of a Tiger Moth, the classic bi-plane, after which you will be able to get behind the wheel of an armoured military vehicle. Next you can enjoy a flight in a Dragon Rapide over the beautiful city of Cambridge before returning to Duxford for a tour of its private aircraft collection. Location: Duxford (Cambridgeshire)Your day begins at 10am and will include the following: Tea and Biscuits in the Control Tower; Entry to all areas of the Imperial War Museum for the participant; Hands-on flying lesson in an open cockpit Tiger Moth, complete with loan of flying jacket, helmet and goggles; Professional photo taken beside your aircraft; Driving lesson in an armoured military vehicle; Flight over Cambridge in the Dragon Rapide; Guided tour of some of Duxford’s private aircraft collection; Buffet lunch in the Pilots Briefing Room;’Log Book’ flight certificate and celebratory glass of champagne. Your day will end at around 3.30pm.On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher for TWO people valid for ten months. You are then free to arrange a day for your visit directly with the operator. Maximum weight 16 stone. Minimum age 16 years. A buffet lunch is provided for all participants on the day. Refreshments are available on site for spectators. Please note that spectators will have to pay to enter the museum and watch the experience, but at a half price rate. All flights are weather dependent and therefore subject to suitable flying conditions. It is essential to call the centre on the morning of your flight to check it will be going ahead. If a flight has to be cancelled it will be rebooked for an alternative date. There will be 16 other participants on this experience with you. Lamborghini LP640 Experience at Thruxton

Get behind the wheel of the Lamborghini LP640 at this fantastic famous track

What better place to take to the wheel of this powerful Supercar than the UK’s fastest motor circuit, still used for Superbikes and Touring Car championships? Your instructor will take to the wheel of the Mazda 3 MPS for three laps to show you the racing lines. You will get to drive the stunning Lamborghini LP640 for 4 laps. In addition to this, you will also drive 4 laps in a Porsche Cayman and 5 laps in a Renault Single Seater. Location: Thruxton, Hampshire (South West)After a 30 minute briefing, it’s out onto the track for three laps in a Mazda 3 MPS with the instructor at the wheel to show you the racing lines. Then jump behind the wheel of a Porsche Cayman 2.7 for four incredible laps. Next it’s into a Lamborghini LP640 for four heart stopping laps with your instructor by your side. Finally it’s five laps in the Renault Single Seater to get the most out of this demanding track.On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity. All participants must have a full valid UK driving license which must be presented on the day. Courses available on weekdays only. You’ll be spending a lot of time outside so wear appropriate clothing but when driving you must wear long trousers, long sleeved top and thin soled narrow shoes as the pedals in racing cars are very close together.
