You will circle to allow everyone a great view of this beautiful Cotswold castle, before setting course over the nearby Cotswold hills, to Stow-on the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh, flying high over the Cotswold scenery and the villages below. Normally reserved for the rich and famous, this is your chance to get a taste of the high life in this 60 minute flight. You are free to either sit back and enjoy the ride, or if you would rather, you can use your 60 minutes as a trial lesson. Trial lessons are the ideal way to start that journey towards your helicopter licence, you can even take the controls during your first flight! Powered by a 300bhp Lycoming engine, the Extra 300 is an ultra light weight, state of the art, high technology display aircraft. During your thrilling flight you’ll be able to take the controls and experience the manoeuvring capabilities of the 300, fly basic aerobatics and learn how to tail chase, if that wasn’t enough you’ll also be playing ‘shoot the bandit’ whilst airborne! In planes that, until recently were used by the Swedish Airforce, take to the skies over England with a fully qualified instructor to put the quick and manoeuvrable Bulldog through its paces. Following a detailed safety and technical briefing, a formation take off, aerobatic flying and a formation loop are just some of the possibilities during your 30 minute flight. The real highlight is the opportunity to tail chase one of the other planes, just like you have seen it done in the films! Location: Gloucestershire (Midlands)Your experience will include the following: Refreshments and kit out in authentic flying suit, helmet and gloves. Safety brief at the aircraft. Pre flight briefing including parachute drill, air combat manoeuvres and video. Out brief, reminder of safety and controls, strap on parachute and take to the air!On purchasing this experience you will receive a gift voucher with 10 months' validity for TWO people. Minimum age for this experience is 12, max weight 17 stone, min height 5', max height 6'5”. This experience is extremely safe and all instructors are either current or former RAF pilots but you must listen to their instructions at all times and complete a medical declaration before flying. The operators are fully insured for both pubic liability and personal risks. You will be able to fly the aircraft at all times other than the take off and landing stages. Flying is subject to weather conditions and you must call the weather line before departing for your experience.
