A whole day of advanced off-road techniques for seriously good, reliably unpredictable fun
If you want to really get stuck into more advanced dirt-based driving, this is the course for you! As well as receiving thorough and expert tuition, you'll also have all day to practice and slide around as you navigate water and mud, ruts, side slopes, climbs, descents and more! A thrillingly wild and challenging full-day driving experience that is sure not to be forgotten. Location: Kent (South East)Arrive at the venue at the appointed time and be greeted by your knowledgeable instructor. First up is a thorough briefing on the features of a 4x4 and how these may affect its off-road ability, checks to be carried our prior to and after driving, essential maintenance to be performed and how to plan a route and assess risks. Then it's over to the vehicle you have chosen for a familiarisation of its controls and an eye-opening demonstration of the 4x4 and its controls over rough terrain. After this it's your turn to head out on the trail to try out what you've just learned! You will be shown additional driving techniques and will have all day to fully get to grips with these. At midday you'll break for a well-earned lunch. Your experience will last for a total of five hours, not shared with any other drivers. Should you wish to share your driving time with a friend or family member, the time can be divided between the two of you. At the point of booking with the supplier, please choose from Land Rover 110 Double Cab, Santana PS10, Jeep Wrangler, Off Road Trials Vehicle, Pinzgauer 710k, AWD 4x4 8 Tonne Truck, Land Rover Defender 90, Land Rover Camel Trophy Discovery - please note that all vehicles are subject to availability.Upon purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months for one person. You are then free to contact the supplier to book your date and choose your vehicle. This experience runs seven days a week. Please enquire at the point of booking which vehicles are available and which you would like to drive. Please note that due to the nature of the terrain and high maintenance requirements, all vehicles are subject to availability and that you may not be able to use the desired 4x4 on the chosen date. Lunch is included in the package. Drivers must be at least 17 years old and in possession of a valid driving license. No previous experience is required. Friends and family are welcome to spectate. Enjoy a day of contrasts by comparing sublime Supercars with a powerful rally car. This event is limited to eight people for maximum driving and enjoyment- drive Porsche, Ferrari (could be either 360 or 575), Aston Martin, Lamborghini Gallardo and Group N Rally car. A half day course which you will never, ever forget. You will perform the legendary burnout, learning its importance, warming the rear tyres to produce the grip essential for a racecar of this power. Then comes a series of laps in the Drag Racecar, and after each lap you will be debriefed, then you can feed the racecar more power, all at your own pace. Your experience may even culminate in a full power pass on the last lap. Location: Northamptonshire (Midlands)
Start with the supercars and put the Porsche 997 and Ferrari 360 through their paces, before moving onto the feisty Fiesta ST rally car. Next it’s all about power and performance in the Lotus Exige. Then comes the single seater shootout, before you throw a Land Rover and a quad bike about on an off-road course. Next learn the art of the power slide in a Caterham 7 and a Peugeot 206 Rally Cup Car, before ending your day with a once in a lifetime lap on the Grand Prix circuit.
