This 30 minute helicopter trial lesson is the perfect gift - due to the size of the helicopter, the recipient can even take two friends along for the ride (although they won't be included under this voucher)! In every trial lesson, you have the opportunity to take control. You'll be at the helm of the Robinson R44, with your instructor manning the dual control system to safely demonstrate and monitor the handling of the aircraft. A day in the sky not to be forgotten! Powered by a 300bhp Lycoming engine, the Extra 300 is an ultra light weight, state of the art, high technology display aircraft. During your thrilling flight you’ll be able to take the controls and experience the manoeuvring capabilities of the 300, fly basic aerobatics and learn how to tail chase, if that wasn’t enough you’ll also be playing ‘shoot the bandit’ whilst airborne! You are free to either sit back and enjoy the ride, or if you would rather, you can use your 60 minutes as a trial lesson. Immersed in the atmosphere of the Imperial War Museum Duxford, this package makes for an extra special day. First is a hands-on flying lesson in the open cockpit of a Tiger Moth, the classic bi-plane, after which you will be able to get behind the wheel of an armoured military vehicle.
